MLCCC's Summer SAT Prep in Wayne

2018 Program Details:

5 days a week; 9AM – 12PM is Verbal, 1PM – 4PM is Math
$625/week for both Verbal and Math (Morning and Afternoon)
$340/week for Verbal Only or Math Only
$250 for 2 days of Essay Writing
10% off if register by 4/16/18
Additional 10% discount per person for groups of 4 or more

Teacher: Mr. Tom Le is MLCCC’s SAT Prep teacher at this program and at our Weekend School at GVHS during non-summer time. The number of students in our SAT Prep class has doubled because of his good teaching. He will teach both Verbal and Math in an organic way that uses the vernacular that is common with the test, but that extends well beyond it to be impactful in all aspects of the students’ lives.

Results Oriented: Last summer, for those students who took more than one week, the class average was an increase of almost 200 points! At our Weekend School, the most improved student had an increase of 230 points over one diagnostic exam! Mr. Le has successfully taught his own progeny SAT Prep at GVHS who is only taking MLCCC SAT Prep before sitting for the SAT next school year.

Who Should Take This Course: The purpose of this course is to help students pinpoint and focus on their own areas of development. To help guide students so that they can minimize prep time, ensure completeness of testing strategies that work for them, and to develop areas that are unfamiliar to them. As in the SAT Prep during the current school year, the emphasis remains on metacognition in order to eliminate mistakes. Class sizes will be limited to be more impactful.
