MLCCC Chinese New Year Gala 2011

On February 6, 2011, MLCCC welcomed the Year of the Rabbit amidst its annual free and festive Gala at Great Valley High School in Malvern. The celebration drew over 400 attendees from numerous communities in Greater Philadelphia. The Gala comprised of a performance Show in the auditorium, followed by a Culture Fair in the cafeteria, where children took part in a dozen traditional Chinese games and collected stamps in their "passports" to claim prizes, while adults browsed the numerous cultural exhibits. The merriment was further enhanced by a lion dance, a great raffle, Dippin' Dots ice cream, and lots of Chinese food and snacks. Everyone had a fantastic time!
