Due to the inclement weather, the Weekend School on Sunday, 2/7 is canceled. See you all on 2/14 at the Gala.


MLCCC's 2nd Annual Chinese Character Recognition Contest Results

Our 2nd Annual Chinese Character Recognition Contest ended on 1/24/2010 and a big round of applause to all the students who participated in the contest. Many of them performed fantastically! Over a half of the attendees won the contest and will be awarded during the Chinese New Year Gala. Click the link to see the winner's list.


MLCCC Chinese New Year Gala 2010

The 2010 Chinese New Year Gala will be on Sunday, 2/14/2010. The Gala will start with the Show, then followed by the Culture Fair, which will now include the Chinese Culture Day exhibits in addition to our traditional New Year games.


Chinese Weekend School Canceled for Sunday 12/20/2009

Due to the inclement weather, the last Weekend School before Christmas is canceled. The entire school year will be moved back one day into one of the reserved snow days. As a result, this weekend's Chinese Culture Day will be also rescheduled.


2010-2011 School Year Early Bird Registration

Chinese Character Recognition Contest 2009

The 2nd Annual MLCCC Chinese Character Recognition Contest application starts this Sunday. The contest will be held on 1/24/2010 and is open to all CHL Chinese Grade 2 students and above. For students who wish to participate, please return the registration form by 1/10/2010. The vocabulary list for each of the two groups can be found follow the link at the bottom on the MLCCC Weekend School Page.

Continuing enrichment programs for MLCCC parents

Several MLCCC community members participated in the "KFC in China: The Secret Recipe for Success - A Roundtable Talk by Author Warren Liu" event. MLCCC begins Chinese Culture Summer Camp in Wayne, PA location

On June 22nd, the MLCCC opened up its 7th annual Chinese Culture Summer Camp at Wayne, PA. The camp runs from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and is conveniently located near the intersection of Rts. 202 and 252. This year, the newly added twice-a-week Karate and Art programs are well received by the campers and their parents. In its 7th year, the camp provides a safe and fun environment for children (ages 4 to 12) to learn Chinese language and culture.


MLCCC Weekend Chinese School celebrates the ending of 2008-2009 school year at the Great Valley High School in Malvern

On June 14th, the MLCCC Weekend Chinese school held its end-of-year school assembly at the Great Valley High School auditorium. All students, teachers, and their family members as well as friends came together to enjoy the performances by over 200 Chinese class students. Afterwards, all staff and their families were invited to an appreciation dinner at a local Chinese restaurant.

MLCCC participates in the Third Annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration

On Saturday, May 30th, the MLCCC will be participating in the 3rd Annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration. Members of all communities are invited to celebrate the diversity of regional Asian ethnicities at this outdoor festival from 11:00am to 5:00pm at Franklin Square Park, 6th and Race Streets, Philadelphia. MLCCC completed its first "China Learning Program" at the nationally-known Russell Byers Charter School located in Philadelphia

To provide a Chinese language and culture learning experience to center city children, the MLCCC partnered with the well-known Russell Byers Charter School to conduct three learning classes over a 12-session program on Saturdays.
