Third Annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration

On Saturday, May 30th, the MLCCC will be participating in the 3rd Annual
Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration. Members of all communities are
invited to celebrate the diversity of regional Asian ethnicities at this outdoor
festival from 11:00am to 5:00pm at Franklin Square Park, 6th and Race Streets, Philadelphia.
Admission is free and it will be held rain or shine.
Over 90,000 Asian Pacific Americans reside in Philadelphia County and nearly 300,000
people who identify as Asian live in Pennsylvania. Enjoy Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino,
Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese arts and cultural performances,
an exquisite variety of ethnic foods, handcrafted and imported ethnic art and merchandise,
and interactive children's activities offered by the region's museums and arts organizations.
Last year, over 3,000 adults and children took part in the festivities. Admission
is free and there is limited free parking available on the west side of 7th Street
