At the end of 1986, China was not even on Kentucky Fried Chicken's (KFC's) map.
By the end of 2008, China was contributing one-third of Yum Brands' - its corporate
parent - worldwide revenue and profits. If recent trend continues, China will be
contributing the majority of Yum Brands' corporate revenue and earnings by the year
2015. When and if that happens, it will be the first time ever for a US-based multinational
company to derive the bulk of its worldwide revenue and earnings from a country
market outside the US. What was KFC's secret recipe for its success in China? To
learn about this company's competitive differentiators and how they jelled in support
of a coherent business strategy, please plan on attending this upcoming event.
